Position Hardware Design Engineer

Location Singapore

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute activities for testing and design verification of prototype IC samples of fingerprint sensors.
• Specification, design and development of fingerprint sensor products, modules, evaluation boards, test boards, etc.
• Develop circuit board designs using CAD tools to capture schematics and create bill of material documentation.
• Supervise PCB layout for DFM, ESD and EMC compliance.
• Define test plans and procedures for design verification and mass production.
• Generate and maintain documentation, reference designs and application notes.
• Participate in IC design reviews to ensure consideration for test and PCB issues at the design stage.
• Ensure timely implementation and execution of product designs and projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• At least 4 years practical relevant experience in applications or product design for computer related products.
• Good knowledge of design tools such as Mentor Graphics PADS and Cadence OrCAD.
• Experience with analog/digital circuits and MCU embedded system are essential.
• Hands-on experience with product development for mass production.
