Dell integrates UPEK fingerprint authentication solutions in Dell’s Latitude™ D420, Latitude™ D620, Latitude™ D820 and Precision™ M65 notebook PCs to provide easier access to and protection of PCs while freeing users from memorizing or writing down passwords. The UPEK fingerprint reader for Dell PCs also protects PCs and personal files from theft, hacking and loss by providing users with an added layer of security: protection at the BIOS (power-on) level. In addition, an interactive user tutorial teaches users how to get the most out of their UPEK fingerprint reader.
