The Swipe Sensor Chipset Integration Kit (TCKDESWP) enables hardware
integration of the UPEK swipe sensor chipset, which consists of the
TouchStrip Fingerprint Sensor (TCS4K) and Digital ID Hardware Engine
(TCD50D) companion microprocessor with self-contained image
reconstruction, template extraction and matching functionality.
The chipset provides a variety of interface options: USB, UART or SPI.
The included communication library source code enables full,
platform-independent integration freedom. The Swipe Sensor Chipset
Integration Kit includes an embedded development board with cables, 10
TouchStrip Fingerprint Sensors (TCS4K), 10 Digital ID Hardware Engines
(TCD50D), as well as 3 TouchStrip Fingerprint Modules (TCESC4K) which
incorporate the TCS4K and TCD50D.

The Touch Sensor Chipset Integration Kit (TCKDEARE) enables hardware
integration of the UPEK touch sensor chipset, which consists of the
TouchChip Fingerprint Sensor (TCS1 or TCS2) and Digital ID Hardware
Engine (TCD50D) companion microprocessor with self-contained image
grabbing, template extraction and matching functionality.
The chipset provides a variety of interface options: USB, UART or SPI.
The included communication library source code enables full,
platform-independent integration freedom. The Touch Sensor Chipset
Integration Kit includes an embedded development board with cables, 5
large TouchChip Fingerprint Sensors (TCS1C), 5 large TouchChip
Fingerprint Sensors with SteelCoat protective coating (TCS1S) and 5
medium TouchChip Fingerprint Sensors with SteelCoat protective coating
(TCS2S), as well as 3 Touch Sensor Chipset USB modules (TCEFC1FF011)

Module Evaluation Kit (TCKESMOD)
The Module Evaluation Kit (TCKESMOD) is intended for evaluation of both the UPEK swipe sensor and touch sensor modules based on the Digital ID Hardware Engine (TCD50D) companion microprocessor with self-contained image reconstruction, template extraction and matching functionality. The sensors integrated into these modules are the swipe-based TouchStrip Fingerprint Sensor (TCS4K) and touch-based TouchChip Fingerprint Sensor (TCS1C).
The swipe sensor module (TCESC4K) provides a variety of interface options: USB, UART or SPI. The touch sensor module (TCEFC1F) offers the commonly required USB interface and complies with the FIPS 201 certification standard. Both modules use the same communication protocol.
The Module Evaluation Kit enables hands on evaluation of UPEK module feature sets and feasibility for applications with full embedded biometric functionality as well as Enhanced Image Mode (EIM) / FIPS 201 applications. UPEK modules are well suited for USB module PC integration projects as well as embedded applications that require quick “drop-in” integration e.g. handhelds, PC integrations, keyboards, smartcard biometric readers and other peripherals.
The Module Evaluation Kit includes an embedded development board with cables, one TouchStrip Fingerprint Module (TCESC4K) and one TouchChip Fingerprint Module (TCEFC1F).
Purchase of the Module Evaluation Kit entitles you to download the TCKESMOD Evaluation Software package containing test applications and product information.

Embedded STM32 USB Integration Kit (TCKDESTM) - Coming Soon
The Embedded STM32 USB Integration Kit (TCKDESTM) is a hardware integration kit allowing integration of different variations of the UPEK TouchChip sensor. The kit includes the TCS1C sensor (large area touch sensor, full EIM, no SteelCoat), the TCS1S sensor (large area touch sensor, EIM Lite, SteelCoat), and the TCS2S sensor (medium area touch sensor, EIM Lite, SteelCoat). This kit provides reference designs for connecting these sensors to a USB interface via an STM32 USB controller.
For an easy start, the kit contains 3 testing modules, one for each type of sensor. The kit provides 5 pieces of each sensor type (TCS1C,TCS1S and TCS2S) for building custom designed prototypes.
